Sweep or dry mop your tile flooring regularly. This prevents sand and dirt from embedding and scratching.
Dirt sits at the top, so it's easy to remove. You only need warm water, gentle soap, and a microfiber mop or cloth—no need for harsh cleaners or sharp tools.

How often?
The general rule is to sweep or dry mop at least twice weekly. Wet mop the bathroom floor once a week, and the kitchen, every two weeks.
A word about grout
Grout is absorbent and gets dirty quickly. Anyone who has ever had to scrub grout knows how difficult it is!
The best bet is to clean it regularly before any build-up occurs. You can make a paste of ½ cup baking soda, ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide, and 1 tsp dish soap. Let sit for five-10 minutes and then rub.
